What is the Pembroke Story?
The Pembroke Story is all about researching Pembroke’s history or story, from earliest times to the modern day. Especially, we are collecting people’s memories, stories and old photographs to piece together a picture of what Pembroke was like in the time of our grandparents and great grandparents – this is because very little of our recent history has been written down. If we do not do this now much of it will be lost forever. We have now launched a website so that you can see what we have found out so far. www.pembrokestory.org.uk |
